In my quest to create polymerous daylilies that are unique and graceful, I started with a seedling from Pat Cochenour's program and crossed it with Ned Robert's 'Chief Four Fingers' and then with Bob Faulkner seedling now registered as 'FKA Bob Faulkner'. The result is this very flat bloom that reminded me of pancakes stacked on a platter, hence the name 'Poly on a Platter'. At 85%, it has a high percentage of poly blooms. I also noted that its foliage stood up very well to the heat and drought experienced in 2024.
